Some progress

Well, I have been to many sites in the last hour or so. Some tutorials were blocked by SPSD - I am at school righ now. I have tried ASK and Google on the same subjects. I must admit that Google gave me what I was looking for and I was not as pleased with ASK although I have used it before. I have used Dogpile previously when I wasn't getting what I wanted from Google but haven't for ages. I'm assuming it is still in existence. I am not going to take the time now to look. I want to go home.

I created a 'delicious' account - more accounts, usernames, passwords - and got my tag to show up on my toolbar. I have saved this wiki to it.

I read some of the other links but must admit I am processing very little. I need to just accept it is not the best time of day to learn new things and give it a rest - so I will.

Finally a Gliffy

Oh, the language we are now throwing around. I made a chart. Let's see if it can magically appear -

Out of Focus ha ha-it sure is!

This is a very poor quality video. I found out some things I could have done to make it better after I made it. I used Photostory which is available on our SPSD computers. It is extremely easy to use (both images and recording the narration of the first paragraph of the novel). I made this video in just a few minutes. Unfortunately I do not have any of my own photos to use and the school camera was not available so resorted to Google Images. I am aware I am probably breaking someone's copyright on one or all of the four photos I copied. I will remove this video from my blog and replace it with something with no copyright issues. I just wanted something done so I could use the support of the Wednesday group to get this posted. I wanted to go through the process of saving it and posting it even though I am not proud of the product. You don't have to be kind with your comments.

A Movie Poster!

I made a movie poster for my book. It was quite simple ( with some help from Ruth). Each of these steps has been fun but the technology part can be frustrating. I will try to add my poster to this post. How big will it appear and where will it appear? Wish me luck.
